| In
1916, London's Dr. John Parker decided to build a new residence
on North Main Street near what was then the edge of town. Later,
in 1945, the residence became the new location for the Lukens
Funeral Home and has housed the funeral home facilities since
that time. Recognizing the need for families to feel at ease
and comfortable with their surroundings at the time of death,
the funeral home has been decorated with a homelike atmosphere
reminiscent of the time period when the Parker's first moved
